M.S. positions in Remote Sensing of Clouds, Aerosols, Air Quality, and Climate (UNC Charlotte)
The Department of Earth, Environmental, and Geographical Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte) seeks motivated M.S. students in Fall 2026.
The positions include a stipend with an in-state tuition waiver, focusing on Satellite Remote Sensing of clouds, aerosols, air quality, and the climate system. Our research group focuses on the climate interactions among aerosols, clouds, and radiation from satellite observations to address climate change and air quality. Ideal candidates should possess skills in the following:
· Proficient computer programming
· Data analysis (statistics, time series, mapping)
· Strong writing and oral communication skills
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
