Super Buffet champions spirited sing-along garage pop: Short catchy songs you can sing with the first time if you'd care to or that are over quickly if you don't.
Imagine Jonathan Richman getting into a pillow fight with King Kahn and BBQ show while 96 Tears plays in the background. Super Buffet might sound like that.
Initially started as a one off project it was just too much fun so they kept going. Super Buffet now performs throughout San Diego county, and occasionally beyond, as anywhere from a 3-5+ piece with the occasional foray into solo territory. A recent outing with the Toxhards at the Casbah found an 11 piece buffet bellowing out "The Super Buffet Theme Song" for over 10 minutes.
Super Buffet features Pete Bayard, Chris Silva, and Brendan Ruff with regular appearances of Steve Rosenbaum and Marie Haddad amongst others.
