Title of the project: Automated Supporting Document Generation for GST Notices
Funded by: Department of Commercial Taxes, Uttar Pradesh. [11 January 2023 – 30 August 2023]
Amount: 18.6 Lakhs
Co-ordinators: Dr. Varun Sharma, Dr. V. K. Singh, Dr. Neelu, Dr. Rahul Kumar Verma, and Dr. Abhinesh Kaushik
Objective: To automate the process of identifying red flags based on tax collection data for a given financial year. ln contrast to the present scenario of generating individual legal notices for different financial years for the same taxpayer upon finding any discrepancy in the tax collection, the developed system will generate one single attachment to be issued with GST notice for a taxpayer.
