Short Biography
Dr. Rahul Kumar Verma is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at IIIT Lucknow. He received his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM), Gwalior. He also worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, where he contributed to interdisciplinary research involving smart sensing and civil-infrastructure health monitoring.
His research interests include Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Edge Computing, and the application of Machine Learning in intelligent systems. His research focus revolves around the dynamic intersection of the Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Industry 4.0, Edge Computing, Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques in IoT and WSNs. Within these domains, his commitment lies in conducting empirical analyses and addressing the current challenges by proposing innovative solutions.
