The Calo
The product of the 'New High Point'! The Calo is a representation of High Point's intention and efforts towards bringing manufacturing back to the city. This chair is an original design from Designer Caleb Collins under his company I Am New Culture. The Calo is the signature piece from Caleb's first 5 Piece Lounge Collection, that will be complete the Fall of 2024. IAMNC is extremely grateful for High Point and the recent resources the city has provided. So much so, that every single part of this chair was completed here in High Point, Nc.

The Start
I Am New Culture, LLC is a creative and design small business, specializing in product design with a focus in furniture. High Point has allowed IAMNC to have a proper start as a company by providing resources such as, Thrive High Point, Congdon Yards and The Generator, which is located inside of Congdon Yards, just to name a few.
To show our appreciation, IAMNC will make The Calo available as a limited edition release for the city. A portion of the proceeds from the limited pieces will go toward the city's efforts to make more dreams like this come true.
How to Help
The Backyard Project
I Am New Culture wants to show the world our gratitude for the opportunities becoming available to the furniture design and maker market here in High Point, Nc. We have decided to start the backyard project, which will highlight the possibilities of designing and manufacturing furniture right here in the city. IAMNC is offering limited edition, made to order Calo's right here in High Point. Along with this fact, there are a few neat reasons why this project is very unique and impactful.
Backyard Gems
A portion of the proceeds will go toward the city's efforts to provide more resources for the furniture design and maker market here in High Point, Nc
You receive the opportunity to see the process of the frame being made at the Generator.
You receive the chance to personally meet with designer Caleb Collins, and select your fabric from Leisure Fabrics.
You receive the chance to select the color of the base for your Calo.
You may also have the option to stage your Calo at a participating High Point Furniture Market location.
