On “You are mine”, “This is Mine”, “Mine”

How this word, when attached to any form of alive/non-alive entity changes the behaviour of a human being towards the same, there is a sense of responsibility and intimacy that gets attached instantly, and a bond is formed.

How, when a school-going kid gets a school bag, a single bed is allotted to a college student in a shared dorm or a desk when assigned to an office employee. Till it is vacant, these are defined as just product/space/furniture built using certain materials or techniques. This shows that connotations change for human beings because of entitlement.

The word entitlement is exploited today, although the same is what makes us take ownership and make space for other entities in our worlds because there are worlds inside worlds.
