Ebenezer Opeyemi Anifowose is a public health specialist cum business and career consultant.

As a nutritionist and public health professional, he is committed to innovation, promoting ideas and advocating for policy changes that promote nutrition, food security and positive behaviour change for the prevention and management of non communicable diseases (NCDs).

Having worked in various NGOs and in the private and public sector with a cumulative 8 years experience, he has developed expertise in health management information systems (HMIS), data management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and project management.

He is the founder of Healthucate Nigeria, a social enterprise through which he has developed many innovative solutions such as the Life Champ Board Game; Nigeria’s first health & fitness education-themed board game and FoodFacts Nigeria; Nigeria’s first nutritional information database for packaged food products.

He also champions the Life Champ School Health Program (LICSHEP) which promotes healthy eating and increased physical activity among school aged children, an initiative to combat the increasing prevalence of non communicable diseases in Nigeria and across Africa. So far, LICSHEP has directly engaged over 300 students across 4 schools in the last 2 years.

Outside public health, Ebenezer is a professional writing consultant and sought after speaker & trainer. He is the founder of the Academy for Business and Career Development where he helps young professionals and entrepreneurs create compelling content for CVs, cover letters, proposals, business plans and other forms of competitive writing for career and business growth. He also provides idea development and business strategy consultations for startups and SMEs.

He holds a bachelor of technology degree in Anatomy (2010) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso and a masters degree in Nutrition with Public Health Management (2014) from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom.

He has completed a certificate course in Leadership & Management in Health from the University of Washington, USA (2018). He is a graduate of the Venture In Enterprise Management Program (2012) of Junior Achievement Nigeria & the Enterprise Development Centre of the Lagos Business School and an alumnus of the LEAP Africa Employability program (2012).

He is an Amazon published author of three books, which are; “The Ultimate Business Planning Guide”, “Handling the Teenage Years” and the Amazon best seller, “The Winning CV Blueprint”.

Ebenezer is the Abeokuta Chapter Director of Startup Grind Abeokuta in partnership with Google for Startups and he sits on board of “Wake Up Call Africa”, an organization working in line with his passion to engage and impact the next generation of young leaders and he has directly impacted over 7,000 young people in various capacities.

Ebenezer volunteers with the United Nations, Skills out of School Foundation and on other projects.
