Eyes Of The Future: Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Smart Eyewear (IAISE)

OVERVIEW

The rapid evolution of Smart Eyewear technology holds the potential to revolutionize daily life by seamlessly integrating artificial intelligence into wearable devices.

The 1st edition of the "Eyes of the Future: Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Smart Eyewear (IAISE)" Workshop at IJCNN 2025 (Rome, from June 30 to July 5, 2025) addresses the growing need for advanced machine learning, computer vision, and eye-tracking technologies to enhance these devices' functionality and user experience. By bridging theoretical advancements and real-world applications, the workshop explores topics such as real-time processing, power efficiency, context-aware applications, embedded eye-tracking, and ethical considerations.

The need for this workshop stems from the rapid advancements in both computer vision and wearable technology sectors, necessitating a dedicated forum where interdisciplinary insights and experiences can be shared to accelerate practical applications. Thus, IAISE not only aims to showcase novel research but also to inspire a roadmap for future developments in Smart Eyewear technology.
