[Chair] Dr. Aik Beng Ng

Biography: Dr. Aik Beng Ng is a recognized leader in AI research and industry collaboration, and is currently the regional manager of NVIDIA AI Technology Centre (NVAITC). He leads a team of researchers on AI research and promotes AI within the ecosystem through strategic collaborations. Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Co-Director of SIT-NVIDIA Joint AI Centre and a member of the Singapore National AI Technical Committee. With over 20 years experience, prior to NVIDIA, he has worked across SMEs, MNCs and public agencies, in roles spanning technology innovation, IT management, and industry development. Today, Assoc. Prof. Ng remains committed to help drive the ecosystem on AI-powered transformations. He is active in promoting research and together with his team and collaborators, he has led and co-organised research events at AAAI Summer Symposium 23, SIGGRAPH Asia 23, ISMAR 22 and 3 NVAITC Symposiums with the most recent during August 24 in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University that saw about 200 attendees from academia and industry. He also has numerous industry speaking engagements such as Big Data & AI World 23, HASH Annual Innovation Asia Summit 23, and Techweek Singapore Interview Money FM 89.3.
