Thanks for the long answer, totally I agree that Hype has much more and untapped potential then the market is giving it credit for. I am not dissing Hype and the Web aspect is certainly a valid point, although if a young programmer asked me what to learn if they want to get into game development I would point them to Unity. No question asked as they build knowledge that is valuable beyond their private project in that sector. For simpler web stuff Hype is mighty sufficient and particles and other stuff can be "simulated" or programmed.

In the end, a good game can be a pile of pixels if executed in an engaging way. So, the main goal should be to focus on the idea, the hook and gameplay. Meaning, the tooling should get out of the way and not limit creativity too much. The bigger tools do offer web exports and with JS getting more powerful and low-level compilers enable cross compiling (see this notes from a talk on the topic _emscripten_talk).

Played it and got hooked. It is addictive! (Und Stressfaktor 10 war garantiert da ()

I guess, there is some decent amount of custom JavaScript in there? I am still a newbie in web dev and JS, with a hefty newsprint design background.

Have you been - by any chance - sharing the source .hype file of the Smiley Game? I am sure it would be super useful for JS learning purposes.

This is such an amazing discussion topic! On one hand, I read a LOT of hyped books because I tend to enjoy most of them. On the other, so many incredible books get overlooked because of the hype around others. I think we as a community need to be better about balancing hype for books!

Hype definitely makes me more interested in books! But recently I did start to think twice before reading hyped books, because it has happened to often that I did not end up enjoying them. And I could have known before hand, since they are outside of my comfort zone for example!

I am actually the opposite. Hyped books kind of scare me off and it takes me ages to get to them ? I usually read them either when they come out (rarely) or years later when the hype is lessened and impacts my opinion less (or so I like to think). Mostly I read backlist titles and other genres anyway ?

Writing this piece has made me examine my attitudes to hype and highly visible books. Since much of my reading is devoted to finding off-beat and different books to feature on this blog, including those put out by smaller publishers, I actively avoid titles which get huge exposure unless I have a special reason to want to read them.

If you see a girl killing it at the gym, hype her up and tell her! If you see a girl working her tail off at their job, take five and tell her she is doing a great job! If you see a girl chasing after her dream, support her by buying her products or supporting her business venture!

this only happens, if you try to change the textsize inside a symbol.

but why dont you change the size of the symbol itself? (fonts also are zooming)

then you can set the size you want for every screen and get same text on every screen.

on changing the text in the symbol, all other will follow.

Team Leader: Neville Longbottom. Kind. Brave. Good. The kind of person you want to follow. Plus he also knows all about plants and his knowledge would help us live off the land.

I created this new thread because I would love to see some of your Hype 4 examples which you have built into your Blocs websites, especially current work done in Blocs 4.x. I am seeking practical use cases so I can determine if there might be usefulness for it on certain pages in my own Blocs-made sites. I also want to see how much a drag it is on page-load performance.

It would be nice of course if our own soldiers could become airborne too, with an upgrade to jetpacks (or a new one) that let the soldier hover in the air, as well as jetpack proficiency becoming available or joined with the mounted weapons perk (I also have a ticket on canny about that ). Our soldiers would not flap wings so they would be more vulnerable in the air, even for specific body part targeting, which the enemies could take advantage of. It would also make HA in general more interesting for airborne soldiers, specially legs which would receive most hits depending on the angle. This would also make it interesting to be able to carry different armor parts and change them on the go if wanted (you guessed it: I have a topic here about that!).

I still want to fight against pandoran planes at ground combat after they downed. Then your drone will transform to ground tank to fight with you too! The second part is a joke but it would be cool as hell when you think about it.

Find your hype person, then start to see them as a real tool for your growth. Know they can hold you accountable, give you a new perspective, or support you through tough transitions and events. To thank them, perhaps you can return the favor and support them in a way that they need.

With my roommate Kelly, the best part of her being my hype person was the way that I could be the same for her. When we build each other up, the impossible seems possible and the world seems a bit brighter.

And the Corinthian Christians wanted a belief system that was equally respected by their society. They wanted a form of Christianity that enabled them to be a part of something that was universally attractive and convincing.

God is working. God is drawing people to Himself. God is changing people. And he graciously wants to include us in this work. But our role is not as PR managers, doctoring up the gospel to make it more appealing. Our role is as ambassadors, communicating the good news of Jesus with clarity, calling for people to respond with faith and repentance, and trusting God to bring the heart change that only He can do.

Edit: the reason why I am complaining is that just about all jobs I have looked at want extensive React experience. My former company I worked for is considering switching from Vue to React because they are struggling to find Vue developers.

And the hype for this one was oh-so-real. This polish is beyond stunning. When it released, I was amazed by the first swatch pictures. I had never seen an orange so burnt and rich and gorgeous. Plus, it has linear holographic like crazy. It is super pigmented, so this baby is opaque in 1 coat. It glows off the nail, and it looks like velvet in certain types of lighting. This polish is delicious.

Marrakesh has an amazing cuisine, both affordable and high end restaurants that give value for money. Even the high end restaurants sef, you can eat all you want and the price will not break your back as long as you are not drinking too much wine. Nothing concern me with wine when it is not the wine that Jesus turned at someone’s Trad in Cana of Galiliee. Lol

We visited several lovely restaurants in Marrakech, my favourite was La Trattoria Marrakesh. The service and food was impeccable. Jamil was our waiter and he was super amazing. You need to make a reservation before visiting the restaurant. I don’t drink alcohol so I ordered like three bottles of Coca Cola, Jamil kept looking at me like “Is this one ordering Coca Cola because its cheap or is she going through something?”. I asked him why we didn’t have romantic candles on our table like everyone else. He just smiled and looked at me like “You want candle light after drinking Coca Cola, no be your mate dey buy wine”. La Trattoria Marrakesh is on Instagram and you can check them out here

We did the hot air ballon ride and it cost 160Euros per head. The package includes hotel pick up and drop off, breakfast and camel ride. We booked with MarrakechbyAir. The experience was really good, our ballon ride had relationship people, every corner is someone looking into another person’s eyes and whispering “I don’t deserve you babe”. Obinna and I were the photographers of the ride, maybe because it looked like we have been married for 20years with 9 children. The hot air ballon package included a camel ride as well, I had wanted to stay on the Camel for just pictures but the tour guide “Fela Durotoyed” me into riding it. Omo!!, the part where the Camel rises or crosses a rough path had me shouting “Buhari!!!”. All in all, it was a good experience.

Another exaggerated place was Le Jardin Secret, it’s just aesthetically pleasing for Instagram pictures for influencers and nothing else. It cost 8Euros for entrance fee and additional 4Euros if you want to tour the tower in it. You should totally visit though if that’s your thing.

Next, go back to that Dropbox Public Folder, and go into the the folder of assets (from Hype) and scroll down until you see a file with this in the name: _hype(underscore)generated(underscore)script.js. Right-click or (on a macbook pro at least) double tap on to open the menu and choose Copy Public Link.

You can create a click event in jQuery to control the css of the embed as well, take a look at this article: .click() | jQuery API Documentation. This method would allow you to respond to a button click to then run other javascript to modify the hype embed code or other elements on the page by class name or ID.

Their cause has been helped by at least two other factors. First, there has never been a strong counter argument, like by another fabric manufacturer with an entirely different solution. Second, consumers want to believe there is a panacea for wet conditions, because being wet when outside is uncomfortable, and sometimes dangerous. GORE-TEX has capitalized on this fear. e24fc04721
