Multi-Robot Systems for Logistics and Beyond: Industrial Deployment, Open Challenges, and Future Directions
Multi-robot systems are becoming a key enabling technology for logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, and other Industry 5.0 applications. Autonomous mobile robots, automated guided vehicles, and heterogeneous robotic fleets are increasingly deployed in real operational environments, opening new opportunities while raising important scientific, technological, and organizational challenges.
This workshop aims to bring together researchers, industrial practitioners, technology providers, and end users to discuss the current state of deployment of multi-robot systems, identify the main barriers to wider adoption, and outline future research directions.
