• Zero Document Storage: Your documents, scanned images, converted files, and extracted text are NEVER uploaded, stored, monitored, or transmitted to external servers during standard operations.
• Local File Management: All generated or modified files are saved directly to your device's internal storage or public document folders under your direct ownership and control.

2. CLOUD-ASSISTED AI SERVICES

• Background Remover Feature: For features that utilize cloud-based AI computation (such as automated Image Background Removal), selected image files are transmitted via an encrypted HTTPS (SSL/TLS 1.3) connection to our secure processing servers strictly for the duration required to execute the background removal.
• Instant Deletion: Transmitted images are processed in-memory and immediately discarded once the resulting image is sent back to your device. We do not retain, archive, profile, or use your images for machine learning model training.

3. APP PERMISSIONS & USE RATIONALE

To provide comprehensive document management capabilities, I Love Tools requests access to specific device features:
• Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Required exclusively when using the Document Scanner feature to capture physical pages or receipts.
• Storage & Media Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED): Required solely to allow you to select files for processing and save output PDF or image files to your device.
• Internet & Network State (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Required for displaying advertisements, processing Google Play subscription transactions, and fetching cloud AI responses for background removal.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used optionally to notify you when long-running batch document operations or file exports are completed.
You can modify or revoke these permissions at any time in your device's Android System Settings.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & ANALYTICS

Our application integrates SDKs from trusted third-party providers to support monetization, authentication, and performance monitoring:
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Displays advertisements within the free tier of the app. AdMob may collect pseudonymous identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / GAID), IP addresses, and device hardware specs to serve contextual or personalized ads in compliance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
• Google Play Services & Billing: Authenticates user accounts (Google Sign-In) and securely processes premium subscription payments.
