If you want a dedicated, submersible audio solution specifically engineered for underwater laps and open-water swimming, choose I love e iFecco IP68; if you need a versatile daily driver with active noise cancellation and translation features for travel or land-based workouts, choose QXUFV Earbuds.
• I love e iFecco IP68: Its greatest strength is the bone conduction design that stays completely secure underwater with an IP68 rating allowing full submersion up to 3 meters for over an hour. Its trade-off is that Bluetooth connectivity ceases to function once submerged, requiring a switch to internal MP3 mode. This pick is strictly for serious swimmers who refuse to carry a phone into the pool.
• QXUFV Earbuds: Its biggest advantage is the intelligent touch screen case and robust ANC technology that blocks out gym noise or traffic while offering 48 hours of total playtime. Its trade-off is an IPX7 rating which protects against sweat and rain but does not support full underwater immersion. This pick is ideal for travelers, commuters, and runners who prioritize sound isolation and smart features over deep-water durability.
The I love e iFecco IP68 is not just another pair of headphones; it is a specialized tool designed for one primary environment: water. The core of its design philosophy is bone conduction technology, which transmits sound through your cheekbones rather than plugging your ear canals. This "open-ear" approach means your ears remain completely exposed to the outside world. While this might seem like a drawback for those seeking isolation, it is actually a critical safety feature for outdoor activities like cycling or running near traffic. You hear your music and your surroundings simultaneously, eliminating the danger of being unaware of cars or other athletes.
For the swimmer, this device is a game-changer. Most standard waterproof earbuds struggle to stay in place during flip turns or high-intensity strokes, but the I love e iFecco uses a flexible titanium frame that weighs only 28 grams. This ultra-lightweight construction ensures the headset remains secure whether you are doing laps in a pool or navigating rough ocean waves. The IP68 rating confirms it can withstand depths up to 3 meters for more than 60 minutes. This isn't just splash resistance; it is a promise that you can take these fully underwater without fear of damage from chlorine, saltwater, or intense pressure.

However, this specialization comes with a significant limitation regarding how you listen. Because the device relies on bone conduction and needs to keep the electronics dry, the Bluetooth connection stops working the moment you go under the surface. To listen to music while swimming, you must switch to the built-in 8GB MP3 player mode. You cannot stream directly from your phone via Bluetooth while submerged. If you are someone who demands constant streaming or relies on call notifications while in the water, this might be frustrating. But if your goal is to have a reliable, untethered music source for your workout without carrying a bulky phone, this is the only logical choice. The 8-hour battery life further supports long training sessions, ensuring you never run out of power mid-marathon or during an all-day cycling trip.
The QXUFV Earbuds represent a different category entirely: the ultimate all-purpose companion for the modern lifestyle. These in-ear devices are built around the concept of immersion and intelligence. They feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology, which uses microphones to detect external noise and generate reverse waves to cancel it out. This creates a quiet bubble for listening, making them perfect for noisy gyms, busy offices, or crowded airplanes. Unlike the open-ear design of the I love e iFecco, these seal inside your ear canal to provide true HiFi stereo sound with powerful bass down to 50Hz and crisp treble up to 5 kHz.
What truly sets these apart is their integration of smart technology, including real-time AI translation and a unique LED touch screen on the charging case. You can adjust settings like brightness, language, and time directly on the case without ever pulling out your smartphone. With support for 164 languages and 7 translation modes, they are an invaluable tool for international travel or language learning. The transparency mode also offers a safety net, amplifying surrounding sounds when you need to be aware of your environment, such as when driving or riding a bike on city streets.
These earbuds are designed for versatility rather than extreme conditions. Their IPX7 rating means they are resistant to sweat and heavy rain, making them excellent for intense cardio sessions or running in the summer downpour. However, this rating stops short of full submersion. They are not intended for swimming laps or surfing. If you try to dunk them underwater, the water will likely breach the seals and damage the electronics. Furthermore, while the 48-hour total playtime (including the case) is impressive and eliminates battery anxiety for long trips, the earbuds themselves require a 1.5-hour charge to deliver 6 to 8 hours of use. They are best suited for people who value audio fidelity, noise control, and smart features above all else, provided they keep their workouts away from deep water.

If I were forced to choose between these two for my own daily routine, I would buy the QXUFV Earbuds. The combination of active noise cancellation, the ability to translate languages on the fly, and the sheer convenience of a 48-hour battery life makes them far more useful for general living, commuting, and land-based exercise. They offer a premium listening experience that feels modern and intelligent. However, if my primary goal was to find the best earphones for swimming, I would immediately switch to the I love e iFecco IP68. There is simply no substitute for bone conduction technology when you need waterproof wireless headphones for swimming that can handle chlorinated pools or open water without disconnecting. The I love e iFecco is a niche tool that excels at exactly what it was built to do, whereas the QXUFV is a generalist that tries to do everything well but fails at the one thing that matters most to a swimmer: staying underwater.
No, the QXUFV Earbuds have an IPX7 rating which protects against sweat and rain but does not support full underwater submersion. Using them while swimming could cause water damage.
Yes, they are designed to work fully underwater, but you must switch from Bluetooth mode to the internal MP3 mode because Bluetooth signals do not transmit effectively through water.
The QXUFV Earbuds offer superior battery life with a total of 48 hours when using the charging case, compared to the 8-hour continuous playback of the I love e iFecco IP68.
No, the I love e iFecco IP68 does not have active noise cancellation; it uses an open-ear design to keep your ears open and aware of your surroundings for safety.
