Welcome to i-Life ("we," "our," or "us"), a mobile application developed and maintained by Fatki Computer, based in Bangladesh. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the i-Life mobile application and our related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using i-Life, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the App, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products, or otherwise use the App's features.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your Full Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and Password.
Shopping Information: To facilitate in-app "Shopping" features, we may collect necessary billing details and shipping addresses to fulfill your orders.
User-Generated Content (UGC): We collect the text, images, comments, and other content you post on the public feed, as well as messages sent through our Chat feature.
Device and Usage Data: We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the App. This includes your IP address, device characteristics, operating system, app usage metrics, and crash logs.
We use the information we collect or receive for a variety of legitimate business purposes, including:
To Facilitate Account Creation and Logon: To manage your account and keep it secure.
To Process Transactions: To process and fulfill in-app shopping orders accurately.
To Enable User-to-User Communication: To route and deliver your chat messages, posts, and comments to other users.
To Protect Our App: To keep i-Life safe and secure (e.g., standard fraud monitoring and prevention).
To Enforce our Terms and Policies: Specifically regarding User-Generated Content moderation and community guidelines.
i-Life allows users to post content, comment, and chat. We take the safety of our community very seriously and strictly adhere to app store guidelines regarding UGC.
Public Visibility: Any information or content you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Service (e.g., public posts, comments) becomes available to the public.
Zero Tolerance Policy: We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content and abusive users. We reserve the right to monitor, review, and delete any UGC that violates our community standards, including hate speech, explicit/sexual content, harassment, bullying, or illegal activities.
Reporting & Blocking: Users can flag/report inappropriate content or abusive users directly within the App. Users also have the ability to block other users from communicating with them. We will review reports within 24 hours and take necessary actions, which may include permanently banning the offending user's account and removing their content.
We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.
Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors, payment gateways (for shopping transactions), and hosting partners who perform services for us or on our behalf.
Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable laws in Bangladesh or governmental requests.
Other Users: When you share personal information (for example, by posting comments, contributions, or other content to the App) or otherwise interact with public areas of the App, such personal information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside the App in perpetuity.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us (such as encrypting passwords and using secure HTTPS connections for APIs), please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).
Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account and associated personal data. You can request account deletion by contacting us via email. Upon request, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
