Her Soviet / Slavic origins and artistic thinkings (as well as metamodern views and Japanese philosophies) prompt the artist to notice and confront the present-day understanding of oneself and every-day banalities. 

Her art practice is about authenticity and freedom, about imperfection and the passage of time, about life and death (cyclicality), about sexuality and body autonomy.

Using a varied range of media (ikebana, collage, found-objects installations, poetry, video, performance art, experimental theatre), elisELIS examines different concepts of the modern world. she worked, performed, exhibited, collaborated internationally: france, germany, prague, spain, ukraine, poland, england. received scholarship of president of ukraine in 2022-2023. received numerous grants to support her avant-garde projects in germany and in japan. her physical artworks are in private collections around the world, and her poetry have been published in international contemporary art magazines, books and literary journals.
