Hi, I am Hyun-Jung Kim.
[You can pronounce my name as 'Hee-young Gee-young' for ease.]
I am currently a math teacher at Action Day Middle School in San Jose.
Previously, I was a lecturer in the mathematics department at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), and a postdoctoral researcher in the department of applied mathematics at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), where I was mentored by Igor Cialenco.
I earned my Ph.D from the mathematics department at the University of Southern California (USC) under the supervision of Sergey V. Lototsky.
