I am an Assistant Professor of Statistics in the Department of Computer Science and Statistics at the University of Rhode Island (URI), where I also serve as the Undergraduate Program Director in Statistics. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from Iowa State University (ISU), and my B.Sc. and M.Phil. in Risk Management Science from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

My research focuses on nonparametric inference for dependent data, with particular emphasis on resampling methods (bootstrap and subsampling), empirical likelihood, and frequency-domain inference. A central theme of my work is to develop statistical procedures that are both theoretically rigorous and practically user-friendly. Beyond nonparametric inference, I am broadly interested in time series analysis, spatial data analysis, change-point problems, model assessment.
