Hythe Youth Club is an initiative overseen by Community Halls in Partnership. It opened its doors for the first time on 25th October 2024 with enthusiastic participation from young people in the local area.
Hythe Youth Club is run by volunteers, who are supported by Essex Youth Services and affiliated with Essex Boys and Girls Club. These partners offer a wealth of experience and essential requirements, such as DBS checks for all who staff the club's sessions.
Our aim is to provide young people with a safe environment to socialise. We want to encourage members to have an active role in what the club provides and hope they can experience the positives of being part of a wider community. We provide free healthy snacks and squash each week along with running a tuck shop where the children can purchase reasonably priced snacks and drinks if they choose to.
Our Youth Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All activities organised by our Youth Club are conducted following health and safety guidelines. Risk assessments are carried out regularly to ensure the safety of all participants.

Volunteering doesn't have to be every week, just when you are able to. We can facilitate DBS checks if you do not have them already.
