Emery, M.A., C.Ht., M.NLP - Hypnotherapist and Personal Development Coach by Blu Dawn★★★★★ "I may be the only one, but it never occurred to me that I should have real expectations of my mental healthcare worker and have expectations of making tangible gains within a reasonable amount of time and without completely traumatizing myself first. I had been in pretty regular, formal therapy with an LCSW for over 10 years with little-to-no direction, no suggestions, no insight, no advice, and no real gains. Eventually, I just asked God, GOOGLE: "How to be happy". After a couple years of healing myself with soul searching, TedTalks, and various forms of bibliotherapy, last month, I ran across something called, "NLP" and dove in. GOOGLE: "NLP practitioner near me" and made my first private appointment. Four weekly sessions in and I have easily breached two major mental blocks and emotional plateaus. Mike helped me weaponize and control commonsense and perspective. It was like I downloaded a handful of helpful mental apps or hacks that I now use to recognize, manipulate and process difficult thoughts, feelings, and tasks. I have also been able to pass some of these hacks onto my son, adding an extra cool value. It is clear that It is clear Mike has mastered the concepts that he coaches. I find him to be relatable, patient, insightful and knowledgable, as well as, gently and not annoyingly, positive. Phone-in appointments removed about five different roadblocks that would have kept me from getting help. I could work on my mental health in my own home, laying down on my couch with my dogs and not in public. I did not have to put on a brave face or engage another's energy. This left me a significantly more head space for the work that we were doing. In addition to the personal therapy sessions, I was given access to his proprietary app, containing lots of cool stuff to nurture and grow my new-found mental health hacks and progress. My sessions felt like the perfect amount of time. I didn't feel cut-off or hurried at all at the end. Electronic scheduling and paying process seamless and convenient. It is clear that It is clear Mike has mastered the concepts that he coaches. I find him to be relatable patient insightful and knowledgable as well as gently and not annoyingly positive.
