If you want a versatile over-ear experience that doubles as a portable speaker for your friends, choose HyperGear Headphones; if you need serious noise isolation and sweat resistance specifically for sports running, choose LEVO Hybrid ANC Earbuds.
• HyperGear Headphones: The standout strength is the unique flip ear cup design that switches between private listening and open speaker mode, but it lacks active noise cancellation and weighs nearly half a kilogram. This pick is for travelers and DJs who need to share audio instantly.
• LEVO Hybrid ANC Earbuds: Its biggest advantage is the 30dB hybrid active noise cancellation and IPX5 waterproof rating for intense workouts, though it offers only 4 hours of battery life on a single charge without the case. This pick is for commuters and athletes who demand silence and stability.
The HyperGear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones are built for people who value versatility above all else. The defining feature here is the flip ear cup mechanism. You can rotate the ear cups inward to create a sealed, over-ear environment that relies on passive noise cancellation for privacy. However, with a simple flick of the wrist, those same cups flip outward, transforming the device into a stereo speaker system. This isn't just a gimmick; it allows you to blast music in a room or let someone nearby hear your track without needing to hand them their own headphones.
For the gym enthusiast who wants to stay connected to their surroundings, these are ideal. The 40mm dynamic drivers push out powerful bass and clear highs, while the memory foam cushions provide comfort during long sessions. The controls are physical buttons located directly on the ear cup, which feels satisfyingly tactile compared to finicky touch sensors. You can adjust volume, skip tracks, or answer calls without fumbling for your phone, a crucial feature when you are mid-workout.

However, this product is not for everyone. At 0.45 kg, it is significantly heavier than standard true wireless earbuds, which might feel cumbersome if you plan to run long distances. The Bluetooth 5.0 connection offers a stable link up to 10 meters, but it lacks the ultra-low latency of newer standards. If you are looking for deep, immersive silence in a chaotic city or an open office, the passive isolation won't cut it against engine hums or loud chatter. These headphones are best suited for casual listeners, gamers, or anyone who needs a reliable pair of speakers for social settings.
The LEVO Hybrid ANC Earbuds are engineered for focus and durability. The headline feature is the 30dB Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation technology. By using dual microphones to analyze and neutralize low-frequency ambient noise, these earbuds create a bubble of silence that is essential for commuting on trains, working in noisy offices, or simply focusing on a podcast. This is a massive leap over passive isolation, making them the superior choice for environments where background noise is constant.
Durability is another key selling point for the active user. With an IPX5 waterproof rating, these earbuds are designed to withstand heavy sweat and rain, making them perfect for sports running or high-intensity interval training. They come with three sizes of medical-grade silicone tips (S/M/L) to ensure a secure fit that won't bounce out of your ears during movement. The 13mm moving coil drivers deliver a rhythmic bass response that punches well above its size, ensuring you don't lose motivation when the beat drops.
The trade-off lies in the battery life per charge. While the total playtime reaches 24 hours with the charging case, the earbuds themselves offer only 4 hours of continuous playback with ANC enabled. You will need to pop them back in the case for a quick top-up if you have a marathon session. Additionally, they rely on touch controls for voice commands and media, which some users find less precise than physical buttons. These are the right tool for the person who prioritizes immersion and athletic performance over the ability to share audio with others.

The HyperGear Headphones are likely better for a DJ scenario because the flip ear cup design allows you to switch between monitoring and acting as a speaker for the room. For gaming, the LEVO earbuds offer a lower 60ms latency, which helps sync audio with video, though the HyperGear provides a wider soundstage with its larger drivers.
Both devices utilize USB-C for charging. The HyperGear Headphones take about 2 hours to fully charge, while the LEVO Hybrid ANC Earbuds require approximately 1.5 hours to charge the buds themselves. Both come with the necessary cables in the box.
Yes, the HyperGear Headphones come with a Limited One-Year Warranty, whereas the LEVO Hybrid ANC Earbuds are covered by a 6-Month Manufacturer Warranty. This suggests HyperGear may offer slightly longer protection for the device itself.
