Jean-Marc Greneche is an Emeritus Research Director at CNRS (IMMM, Le Mans University, France) and a world-renowned expert in 57Fe Mössbauer spectrometry and nanomagnetism. He has served as Director of the IMMM institute and Project Manager at the CNRS, and he has also long held Vice Chairman role in the International Board on Applications of Mössbauer Effect (IBAME). Greneche has been an Invited Professor in Spain, Brazil, and China, and was awarded a Doctorate Honoris Causa in Peru in 2025, alongside the prestigious IBAME Science Award. He also maintains a strong commitment to global teaching and to public science dissemination. He has co-authored 667 papers and a reference book on Mössbauer spectrometry published by Springer in 2024 and served as Editor for the Journal of Alloys and Compounds.
