About Me
I'm an assistant professor at Sogang University in South Korea. Before I joined the university, I worked at Educational Testing Service (ETS) for seven years as a research scientist. My research interests focus on the applications of the artificial intelligence (AI) in education, particularly in the field of educational measurement and evaluation – design applications (adaptive testing and learning) and modeling and reporting applications (leveraging the big data in education and automated scoring) – both inspired by my extensive involvement in international large-scale assessments such as the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA).
