Immune Cell Dynamics & Intravital Imaging
Immune cells constantly migrate through tissues to maintain homeostasis and defend the host against infection. We use advanced intravital imaging approaches to visualize immune cell behavior in living animals and investigate the molecular mechanisms regulating leukocyte migration, vascular permeability, and tissue inflammation.
Environmental Immunology & Microplastics
Environmental pollutants such as microplastics and nanoplastics are emerging threats to human health. Our laboratory investigates how these particles interact with immune cells and tissues to influence inflammation, immune dysfunction, and disease susceptibility.
Neuroimmunology & CNS Inflammation (EAE model + CNS -> innate immune cell & function)
We study how innate immune cells infiltrate the inflamed central nervous system and drive disease progression. Our goal is to uncover biomarkers and therapeutic targets for immune-mediated neurological disorders.
