Feb 2021 - Feb 2026: B.S. in School of Transdisciplinary Studies, KAIST
I'm Hyeong Jun Jang, a student doing the integrated M.S.-Ph.D. program in KAIST's Graduate School of AI for Math and a student researcher with the Biomedical Mathematics Group at the Institute of Basic Science.
My research interests center on enhancing robustness and precision in biomedical research by synergizing mathematics, statistics, and AI. Specifically, I apply identifiability analysis and Bayesian inference with mathematical models to optimize experimental designs in enzyme kinetics, and leverage AI-driven hyperparameter tuning to streamline statistical workflows. Ultimately, I aim to establish a sophisticated, math- and AI-assisted methodology to enhance the rigor and efficiency of quantitative analysis in the life sciences.
I also have experience developing Android and iOS applications, with a focus on front-end development using Swift, and Java.
