Welcome!

My name is Hyejin Yim. I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Agricultural Economics at Purdue University and expect to graduate in May 2023. My research interests include health and food safety, with a primary focus on consumer behavior. My research explores 1) how health and food safety issues affect consumers' decisions and 2) how minimum wage increases influence consumer wellbeing. My experiences range from conducting a randomized control study with an experimental auction to analyzing scanner data and public inspection reports using applied micro-econometrics.
