River ways such as in the Oaxaca municipality have been successfully restored using the Flugger device.

Oaxaca riverways were found to be highly contaminated with sewage, bacteria, and algae. Nanoresonance Industries installed a riverway Flugger® in a bypass of the polluted river for the city upstream. This device uses inductance, nanobubbles, and specific frequencies to target pathogen bacteria and algae without harming plants or aquatic life.
Environmental Impact
Over the course of one month, the river water was successfully regenerated and returned to its pristine state. The Flugger® removed the bacteria and toxins from the river water. The health of the river ecosystem was improved based on the amount of aquatic life returned.
