Laboratory of Hydrometeorology

Welcome to the website of the Laboratory of Hydrometeorology at Université Laval in Quebec City, Canada. This laboratory brings together the research activities of Professors François Anctil and Daniel Nadeau, from the Department of Civil and Water Engineering . We are interested in the journey of water across natural environments. Thanks to several measurement campaigns, we are seeking a better understanding of the water-energy exchanges at the soil-vegetation-snow-atmosphere interface. We are using these observations to improve meteorological and hydrological forecasting tools.
