Week 9 Milestone Deliverable
Notes: This is the primary simulation of interest. This is a 2D acoustic simulation performed using the MSOUND library for Matlab. The tool here generates a visualization of the propagation of soundwaves with variable frequencies. The aim is to use a simulation similar to this during the construction and testing of our device as a means of grounding our systems outputs with a computational benchmark. This simulation still requires the addition of a boundary condition for the other end of the raceway, and addition of obstacles to simulate bubbles. we hope to make advancements on this next semester.
Notes: a rudimentary attempt at creating a standing wave 3D acoustic simulation. The graph on the bottom left is the only one our team was able to get to display correctly, and we concluded that the computational power necesarry to do these 3D simulations, as well as the scope of our project, rendered this approach redundant.
