Hydration Buddy is designed to be simple and private. This policy explains what information the app does — and doesn't — collect.
What We Collect
Hydration Buddy does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party. The app does not require an account, login, or internet connection to function.
What's Stored On Your Device
The app saves a small amount of information locally on your device only, including:
- Your chosen wake-up time, bedtime, and reminder interval
- Your current hydration check-in streak
- Whether you've previously been shown the notification permission screen
This information stays on your device. We do not have access to it, and it is never uploaded anywhere.
Notifications
If you grant permission, Hydration Buddy schedules local notifications on your device to remind you to drink water. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device using your device's operating system — no data about your notification activity is sent to us or anyone else.
Third-Party Services
Hydration Buddy does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Children's Privacy
Hydration Buddy does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal data at all.

If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted at this same page with a revised "Last updated" date.
