This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Hydrate : Water Intake Tracker, package name com.smartwaterdrink.hydrate, published on Google Play by Sandeep Dervaliya (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Hydrate : Water Intake Tracker may also be referred to in this Privacy Policy as the “App.”
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, how information is used, which permissions are required, and how third-party services may process information.
The Developer does not directly collect, transmit, store on external servers, rent, or sell your hydration records or other personal information entered into the App.
The App does not require account registration or login.
Hydration-related information is stored locally on your device. This may include:
Daily water intake
Hydration history
Drink entries
Custom drink types
Reminder schedules
Daily hydration goals
Notification preferences
App settings and preferences
This locally stored information does not leave your device through the App unless you intentionally use a sharing, export, or backup feature.
The App uses local Android storage and databases to save your hydration records, reminders, goals, and preferences.
The Developer does not operate a server that receives or stores your hydration history.
Local data may be removed by:
Deleting entries within the App
Clearing the App’s storage through Android settings
Uninstalling the App
Information included in a device backup may be managed according to your Android device and Google backup settings.
Although the Developer does not directly collect your hydration records, the App uses third-party services that may automatically process certain technical, device, advertising, and usage information.
These services may process information under their own privacy policies.

Google Play Services
Google Play In-App Updates
The App displays advertisements provided through Google AdMob.
Depending on your device settings, consent choices, region, and Google’s configuration, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process information such as:

App interactions
Advertisement impressions

You may be able to manage advertising personalization or reset your Advertising ID through your Android device or Google settings.
Where required by applicable law, the App may request consent before displaying personalized advertisements.
The App may request or use the following Android permissions and system capabilities.
The POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission is used to display hydration reminders and related notifications.
Notifications may include:
Water-drinking reminders
Scheduled hydration alerts
Daily goal reminders
Goal-completion notifications
Your hydration records are not sent to the Developer when notifications are displayed.
You can disable notifications through the App or your Android device settings.
The App may use SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM or USE_EXACT_ALARM to schedule hydration reminders at requested times.
Examples include:
Reminders every 90 minutes
Reminders every two hours
Custom reminder times
Daily hydration reminders
This access is used only to provide time-sensitive reminder functionality.
The RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED permission may be used to restore scheduled reminders after the device is restarted.
Without this functionality, reminders may need to be scheduled again after a restart.
The VIBRATE permission may be used to vibrate the device when a hydration notification is displayed.
Vibration can be controlled through your device’s notification settings.
The INTERNET permission may be used for:
Loading Google AdMob advertisements
Communicating with Google Play services
Checking or delivering in-app updates
Accessing optional online functionality, when available
The App does not use internet access to upload your hydration records to the Developer’s servers.
The ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission may be used to determine whether an internet connection is available before requesting advertisements or online services.
The App may allow you to select a notification sound using Android’s system ringtone picker.
The system ringtone picker is provided by Android. The App does not scan or upload your personal audio files.
The Developer currently does not use a separate analytics service such as Google Analytics for Firebase.
Google AdMob and Google Play services may independently process diagnostic, advertising, performance, or interaction data as described in their respective policies.
If a separate analytics service is introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated where required.
The Developer does not sell or rent your hydration data.
The Developer does not share your hydration history with advertisers.
Third-party services integrated into the App, including Google AdMob and Google Play services, may process technical or advertising-related information according to their own policies and your consent choices.
Hydration records and App settings remain stored locally until you:
Delete individual records
Use an available clear-data feature
Clear the App’s storage from Android settings
Uninstall the App
Information processed independently by Google or other third-party providers is subject to those providers’ retention and deletion policies.
We use reasonable measures available through the Android platform to protect locally stored App information.
However, no device, storage system, or method of electronic processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including screen-lock protection and operating-system updates.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically designed or directed toward children under 13.
The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Advertising services may apply age-related and regional requirements according to their own policies and the App’s Google Play configuration.
A parent or guardian who believes that a child has provided information requiring attention may contact us using the email address below.
You may:
Disable reminders within the App
Deny or disable notification permission
Change notification settings
Delete hydration records
Reset App data
Manage advertising preferences through your Google settings
Uninstall the App at any time
Some features may not function correctly when required permissions are disabled.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s functionality, permissions, third-party services, or legal requirements change.
Updates will be indicated by changing the “Last updated” date at the top of this policy.
Continued use of the App after an update means the revised policy will apply from its effective date.
