2. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect any personal identification information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical location. All water tracking data, goals, and streaks are stored locally on your device.
3. Information Collected by Third Parties
To provide our services and support development, we use third-party tools that may collect information:
Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use your advertising ID (IDFA/AAID) and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): We use this SDK to manage your privacy choices and comply with regulations like GDPR (Europe) and CCPA (California).
Google Play Services: Used for app functionality and stability.
4. How We Use Data
Water Tracking: Your water intake, daily goal, and streak data are used solely within the app to help you stay hydrated. This data is stored in your device's "SharedPreferences" and is never uploaded to our servers.
Advertising: Device identifiers are used by Google AdMob to limit the number of times you see the same ad and to provide relevant advertising.
5. Permissions
The App requests the following permissions to function:
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send you reminders to drink water and a morning summary.
Internet Access: Required to fetch advertisements and display the privacy consent form.
Foreground Service: Used occasionally by WorkManager to ensure reminders are triggered reliably.
6. Your Privacy Choices (GDPR/CCPA)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or regulated US states, you will be presented with a Consent Form (managed by Google UMP) upon opening the app. You can:

Consent to non-personalized ads.

7. Data Retention and Deletion
Since all your data (water count, streaks) is stored locally, you can delete all information at any time by:
Clearing the App's cache/data in your device settings.
Uninstalling the App.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. While the app is safe for all ages to track water, we encourage parents to monitor their children’s mobile use.
