A. Personal Information
When you set up or use the App, you may enter the following data:
Name: Used to personalize the app interface.
Weight and Gender: Used solely to calculate your recommended daily water intake.
Wake-up and Bed Times: Used to schedule hydration reminders during your active hours.
B. Hydration Logs
The App records:
The amount of water you consume.
The timestamps of when you logged your water intake.
Your daily streak data.
C. Technical & Device Data
•No Third-Party Analytics: The App does not integrate any third-party tracking services (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or Mixpanel). We do not track your behavior, usage patterns, or device identifiers.
•No Advertisements: The App contains no advertisements and does not collect any data for advertising networks.
2. Where Your Data is Stored
All your data is stored securely on your own device using local storage databases (Hive and SharedPreferences).
•No Server Storage: We do not maintain any servers, cloud databases, or online backup services. Your data never leaves your device.
3. Device Permissions
To function correctly, the App requires the following device permissions. All processing related to these permissions occurs entirely on your device:
Notifications & Alarms (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_EXACT_ALARM): Used to send you local reminders to drink water based on your wake-up and bed times.
Vibrate (VIBRATE): Used to vibrate the device when a notification is triggered.
Receive Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to reschedule your local water reminders automatically if your device restarts.
4. Data Control, Retention, and Deletion
Since your data is stored locally, you have absolute control over it:
Resetting Data: You can delete all your hydration logs or reset the entire app to factory defaults at any time using the settings screen within the App (under the Danger Zone section).
Clearing Storage: You can delete all data by clearing the App's storage/cache in your device's Android settings.
Uninstalling: Uninstalling the App from your device will permanently delete all stored data, preferences, and progress. This action is irreversible.
5. Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is transmitted or collected online, the App is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Since the App operates offline and does not communicate with a server, we recommend checking this page or the hosted policy URL for any updates. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
