At the heart of Whispering Orchards Retreat is Mr. Hoshiyar singh Hyanki , raised among the misty hills of Dharchula. Once a robust sportsman known for his strength and striking looks, he now brings that same vigor to nurturing nature, knowledge, and heritage.

Now retired, he dedicates his days to the things he loves most: his sprawling garden, his beloved dogs, and keeping alive the spirit of the Rung tribe, whose stories and traditions he proudly safeguards. He is a walking library of current affairs, regional history, and Himalayan biodiversity.
