Intro to the appearance bias

Appearance simply means "the way that someone or something looks." The definition of bias is "prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair." Both words together create an abstract group that judges the way that someone looks. Women and young girls across the globe are forced under the appearance bias. Not only to live by the fear of judgment but also to change their true selves in ways that will cost them. We believe that the "thing" both terms together creates is the way someone or something expects you to look, is unfair.
