Who can attend: BSc (3rd and 4th year) Physics, MSc Physics, and 1st-year PhD students in Physics/Astrophysics.

Registration Window: September 15 – October 15, 2025

Registration Fee: Nil

Food & Refreshments: Provided by the organisers

Travel & Accommodation:

• Travel support will be provided to outstation participants.

• Selected participants may arrange their own accommodation. However, on request, low-cost accommodation can be arranged in the HDRC hostels located on the Xavier’s hostel premises.

• Accommodation Charges: Rs. 200 (triple sharing) and 300 (double sharing) per day.
  
  

Selection Criteria: In case of a large number of applications, preference will be given to students:

• From institutions in Gujarat and colleges and universities in remote regions

• Currently pursuing BSc/MSc/PhD in Physics

• With prior exposure to Astronomy, Astrophysics, or other branches of Theoretical Physics

• With higher CGPA/percentage of marks

• Who submit a strong Statement of Purpose

• Who provide a Recommendation Letter

Notification: Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email by October 31, 2025.

Certification of Participation: Certificates will be awarded subject to satisfactory participation.
