Hi, I’m Jordan Turner,
a lifelong dog lover and the proud owner of H.W. Canine Design. I’ve built my career around one simple belief: dogs deserve the very best care we can give them.
My grooming journey began in 2021 when I started pet sitting and handing out business cards around town. That path led me to a groomer who took me under their wing, and I quickly realized I had found my passion. Before grooming, I worked in veterinary clinics and kennels, where I gained a strong foundation in animal health, behavior, and safe handling. That experience continues to guide me every day in the salon.
At H.W. Canine Design, grooming is about more than just a haircut. It is about comfort, trust, and supporting your dog’s overall well-being. Every decision I make comes back to one question: what is best for the dog on my table? No two dogs are the same, and their grooming experience should not be either. Each appointment is thoughtfully tailored to your dog’s individual coat, personality, and comfort level to create a calm and positive experience where safety, happiness, and health always come first.
I am a Professionally Certified Groomer through the AKC and an AKC S.A.F.E. Groomer, and I am proud to have been voted Montgomery County’s Best Pet Groomer of 2025. Continued education is extremely important to me, and I regularly invest in workshops, seminars, and certifications to stay current with safe, effective, and modern grooming techniques. One of my favorite parts of this profession is that there is always more to learn.
I have a special love for creative grooming and breed standard trims, and I enjoy challenging myself artistically while still prioritizing each dog’s comfort and well-being. Being involved in the local community is also something I’m deeply passionate about, and I love connecting with both pets and their people.
When I’m not in the salon, life still revolves around animals. Whether I’m hiking, tending to my garden, or spending time with my fiancé, Nate, and our pets, they constantly remind me to lead with patience, kindness, and care.

Meet Henry,
Henry came into my life in 2020, just before the chaos of the COVID lockdown. This goofy and affectionate American Cocker Spaniel quickly became the light of my days. His playful and adventurous spirit kept me on my toes. From training in the park, hiking, or going on a pup cup run Henry is always up for a new adventure!
Henry has some impressive tricks up his sleeve! From classic commands to unique talents like 'backpack,' where he playfully jumps on my back and hangs on tight, Henry never fails to bring a smile to my face.
Henry and I have traveled far and wide together from state parks across Indiana to tagging along on a trip to Florida. Though he can be a bit reserved at times, his gentle nature and good manners make him a beloved companion wherever we go.

Meet Willow,
Willow, a lovable Lab mix adopted from the Animal Welfare League in 2021, is the epitome of sweetness and charm. Known for her quick wit and unwavering friendliness, Willow stole my heart from the first day I meet her.
This clever pup is a treat enthusiast, with a particular fondness for cucumbers and tomatoes from my garden beds. Her determination and intelligence shine through as she eagerly learns new tricks in exchange for a tasty snack.
Willow's favorite pastimes include cuddling up for pets, going on scenic walks and hikes, and embarking on exciting car rides to her beloved outdoor destinations. Her infectious excitement and affectionate nature make her a true joy to be around.
A natural hunter, Willow takes her job of keeping critters out of the yard very seriously. Her keen instincts and watchful eye ensure a critter free environment for all to enjoy.
In addition to her vigilant guard duties, Willow also extends a welcome to everyone who comes through our alley. She especially loves to greet our neighbor who tosses treats over the fence for her to enjoy.
With her sweetness, irresistible charm, and unwavering dedication to her duties, Willow is sure to bring smiles and warmth to all who cross her path.
