National Business
Honor Society

The National Business Honor Society is the nation's premiere business organization sponsored by the National Business Education Association. It exists to:

• Promote and recognize academic achievement in business education, leadership skills, and character development

• Help members grow ethically and socially by promoting and encouraging interest in business

• Encourage member involvement in serving learning initiatives

Business students who meet the following criterion will have the opportunity to join the Hoover High School national Business Honor Society:

• Complete three Business courses (any business area - Finance, or Marketing)

• Earn a minimum standard GPA of 3.0 or higher

• Earn a minimum standard GPA of 3.5 in Business courses
