Scheduled Rides

NOTE! Given the WREMO warning, there might not be anyone riding tonight!

Another chance to give Steve an enjoyable ride out in Miramar. Depending on the weather and how Graeme feels on the night, we might do a loop or two of Conviction, Jailbrake, Repeat Offender. 

The plan is to ride Skyline, doing a bit of an explore.

Let's be honest, we're just going to wing it :-) - but most likely climb to the top, then Electric Avenue & 4 degrees back up to the top and maybe a loop of something...

Depending on the weather, this could end up being a few streets, a few alleyways, some steps and anything else we can find and try not to get evicted from Parliament, then possibly on to some other urban locations - or it could be an even better dirty ride!

The plan is to head up via either the Riser or Winder, then a circumnavigation of Wainui.

This popular walking track is normally off limits to mountain bikers but we have special limited permission to ride it for one night - for Club members only. It gradually climbs through native bush to the Orongorongo River and will be ridden "there and back" from the carpark. 

Note that due to the special permission we have, this is a club members only ride, so be sure that you've paid your membership (although there will be a limited number of membership forms for those that would like to join on the night (only $25!)).

After the ride we'll have a BBQ at the park, so be sure to bring along something to slap on the grill & quench your thirst!

We'll make our way over to the Game of Two Halves (Kēmu O Rua Haurua) & back again.

Let's be honest, we're just going to wing it :-) - but most likely climb to the top, then across to do John's Snoofty track. Be sure to bring along your anti-gorse flak jacket...
