About HUST Alumni Association of Seattle?

HUST Alumni Association of Seattle is a Washington State registered Non-Profit Organization dedicated to education and culture diversity. HUSTAA-SEA stands for Huazhong University of Science and Technology Alumni Association of Seattle. The NPO was created in December 2018 and it has been actively hosting events since its birth.

Who is running HUST Alumni Association of Seattle?

Currently, we have about 20 directors who co-own and manage the NPO together. The majority of directors are HUSTers resided in the Great Seattle Area.

As an IRS 501(c)3 organization, all of your donations are tax-exempt. Our EIN is 83-3637055.

What is novel coronavirus?

2019 Novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is a coronavirus identified as the cause of an outbreak of respiratory illness first detected in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Tens of thousands of people in China are infected with most of them resided in Hubei Province.

How are we connected with the Hubei COVID-19 Outbreak?

(1) Our university is located in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, where the novel coronavirus outbreaks. We have a lot of alumni, friends, and family members living and working there.

(2) The major hospitals who are fighting COVID-19, including Wuhan Tongji Hospital and Wuhan Union Hospital, are affiliated with our university. Our alumni, sisters and brothers, in these two hospitals are fighting with the coronavirus outbreak right now. Therefore, we are forging a united frontier in this war against the SARS-CoV-2 with all of us. And we feel it is our responsibility to help with all our efforts.
