Overview:

By training, I define myself an Electromagnetic Engineer, however, most of my publications are in Acoustics. In fact, in my way towards my PhD, I lost my path and entered to this field. After some preliminary studies in the new domain, I got interested by similarities between these two fields and tried to translate novel electromagnetic findings to acoustics or vice versa. This path eventually led me to write my PhD thesis in acoustics but in the language of electromagnetic engineer. As of today, I continue my research in these fields and I use Metamaterial as a common platform to push my interdisciplinary studies in harnessing waves towards novel functionalities.
