Movie Night Recap: We are in need of much more helpers during these events. Too many kids
lead to a lot of behaviors and it becomes too much. We have decided to take a break from these
events until we can come up with a better solution.
Math Night: Family oriented night. We tossed around the idea of a Spaghetti dinner for the
night. Time and details TBA
Christmas Shoppe: Went great and was nice to have so many donations and helpers to make
this event successful and was much appreciated. Would like to make up the bags for wrapping
the gifts days in advance.
Spring Dance: Susan and Katie organizing this event. Girl and special person of their choice.
The theme TBA
Transportation dept: Lisa offered to help set this up. Breakfast items for appreciation for all
they do. Set up by 8:45
Raffle: Biggest Fundraiser- Susan working on it for the year, hopefully by March
We are working on becoming a non-profit.
Staff Appreciation: 1 week fun for all the staff. Theme TBA May 6-10th
Spring Book fair: dates TBA Carrie Rains is organizing
PTO board members: Vice President spot open, Carries last year and the President will be
open as well.
Treasurer's Report: Susan was unable to attend so we will have the report next meeting on
Feb 21st. Zoom meeting again @ 5:30 pm

Approval of Minutes delayed
Book fair: This was the most successful fair we have had in a few years bringing in almost $4,000 dollars in total. We will earn back some of that.
*Scholastic dollars used on Library books that Mrs. Janet Gould helped pick out.
*Spring Book fair is NO longer a BOGO its 30% off
Board Members: Rachele Boyaln voted in by Carrie W. and Second by Susan D. Motion carried
Halloween Party: *Upriver is donating 25 pizzas for a total of 200 slices. We will also buy more at discounted price of 25% off
Courtney Gillison is getting decorations including corn stalks. She aslo had apples donated. We are still on need of Cider if anyone has any ideas etc
Costume Prizes will be: 1st place: $60
2nd place: $40
3rd place: $20
Best car for trunk or treat wins $100 prize
Playground is UNSUPERVISED during the Halloween Party and students MUST be accompanied by an adult!
This is not a drop off event and parents MUST stay.
Once trunk or treat cars are parked they are to STAY put until 7pm for safety reasons.
Raffle delayed til March
Boys Night: We are thinking of a Nerf theme. Boys would bring their own Nerf choice. We are thinking either Walking tacos or Hotdogs for dinner. Feedback would be appreciated.
Movie Night: First movie night is December 8th from 4-6:30. Cost would include Hotdog,chips,cookie and drink.
Looking to play the newer Grinch Movie.

Agenda/ Discussion Items:
1) No minutes to approve
2) Treasurer’s Report – See attached. Will need to raise around $10,000 for this year’s
expenses to break even.
3) There are 23-24 planned events this school year – see attached list for “whole School
event list”. We would like to print the list to pass out to families again.
4) Book Fair – October 11-12 in the cafeteria. Setup will be just after breakfast and
kindergarten is done. Parent volunteer sign up genius to go out soon.
5) Halloween party & Raffle – Scheduled for October 27 th 5-7pm outside in the bus line.
Carrie will work on creating a sign-up sheet for Trunk or Treating and additional
volunteers. $5 per person will get entrance, 2 pizzas, and a drink. We would like to keep
the raffle ticket winner prizes the same as last year. There will be 3 prizes for the
student with the highest ticket sales. Winning class will get to cover Mr. Greatz with silly
string! Susan is working on the raffle tickets and getting a quote from Platte River
Printing.
6) Website – going to go live!
7) New business – We would like to open a website to sell Homestead Hills apparel and
swag. Ashley will look into different site options and see what the fundraising
opportunities would be.
