One phone. Everyone plays. Hush is an in-person party game for 3-12 players. Pass the iPhone around to see private cards, then talk, bluff, and find the imposter. An Apple Watch can join as an optional companion.
Choose a game on the home screen, set the player count and seating order, then deal the cards. Each player confirms their name and privately views their own card before passing the phone on. Follow the prompts to discuss, choose a suspect, and reveal the result. Tap How to play in the app for mode-specific rules.
Undercover: Most players receive the same word; imposters receive a related but different word. Nobody is shown a role label. Describe your word without saying it, then find every imposter.
Secret Word: Most players see the same word; imposters receive no word. Give clues and identify the players who are blending in.
Odd Question: Most players receive one question and an imposter receives a different one. Answer privately, compare responses, ask questions, and vote.
The Watch is optional. To use it, pair your Watch with your iPhone, install Hush on both devices, and open both apps. Keep the current round open on iPhone. During an Undercover or Secret Word turn, one player can confirm their name on the Watch and view their private card there. The card hides after 20 seconds or when the Watch becomes inactive; tap I've seen it to finish that turn. The Watch can also control the public discussion timer and show the reveal. Odd Question answers and votes remain on iPhone. One Watch represents one player per round; do not pass a bound Watch to another player.
If the Watch does not connect, open Hush on both devices, keep the iPhone nearby and the round in the foreground, then use Settings → Apple Watch → Refresh connection. You can always finish the game on iPhone without a Watch.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No. Hush works without an account or subscription.
Can I play offline?
Yes. The game content is included in the app, and core iPhone gameplay does not require an internet connection.
Where is my game data stored?
The current game, player names, preferences, and limited card history are stored locally on your iPhone. You can remove them with Settings → Clear all local data.
Can I report a card or question?
Use the in-app card feedback action where available, or email us with the card ID and a brief description. Please leave out player names and other personal details.
