Hush is a premium app and requires a paid license after the free trial. That is our business model. Your personal data is never collected or sold for commercial purposes. We respect your privacy and our app is fully GDPR compliant (European Privacy Law). Read more.
Personal data
Notifications, contacts or phone logs are only saved locally on your device. This data is never transmitted over the network. If you setup a Wi-Fi rule Hush will continuously monitor your Wi-Fi connection in the background. Since Wi-Fi networks can contain location data, the background location permission is then required. The location data is only used to apply your Wi-Fi rule on your phone and never transmitted over the network.
License and support
Your first Google account (e.g. yourname@gmail.com) is stored on our server for automatic authentication. Both for a trial and premium license. This way you can use a Hush license on multiple devices and transfer your license to a new device when for instance you get a new device.
Secondly we use your account to provide user support and communicate with you if you have questions about the app or your privacy. When you choose to use Hush, you freely consent to this data processing (article 6 and 7 GDPR). If you no longer want to use Hush you can request that your Google account is deleted from our server. Send an email with your request to: hush@silkyapps.eu.
Development
Hush uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics SDKs. These SDKs maybe process personal information like your device brand, model, system settings and the installed apps. We use this information to monitor performance, fix crashes and bugs and add new features to the app.
