Undergraduate researchers: CCNY offers numerous funding opportunities to support undergraduate research during the semester or over the summer. Please contact Kim (khuppert@ccny.cuny.edu) for more information about opportunities and eligibility criteria.
Prospective PhD students should apply to the CUNY Graduate Center Earth and Environmental Science Program, a one-of-a-kind doctoral program that combines physical and social sciences, focusing on the earth, its environments, human activities, and the linkages between them. Please contact Kim (khuppert@ccny.cuny.edu) prior to the December 15 application deadline to discuss opportunities and application procedures.
Prospective masters students can pursue various degrees at CCNY (including Earth & Atmospheric Science, Earth System Science and Environmental Engineering, and Sustainability in the Urban Environment) and should also contact Kim (khuppert@ccny.cuny.edu) to discuss opportunities. For the EAS and ESE masters programs, applications for the fall semester are due May 1. Applications for the spring semester are due November 15.
Postdoctoral researchers: We occasionally have funding to support postdoctoral research scientists, or please contact Kim (khuppert@ccny.cuny.edu) if you are interested in developing a project and writing a proposal together to fund postdoctoral research.
