Biography. I am a Senior Lecturer (Tenured) in Computer Science and a Program Manager of the Bachelor of Computer Science at the School of Computing Technologies, RMIT University, Australia. Previously, I worked at the Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute (A2I2), Deakin University, Australia. I received my PhD from the University of Newcastle, Australia in 5/2017.
Research Interests. I have been doing research in both Machine Learning and Software Engineering, focusing on the following topics:
Bayesian Optimization;
Automated Machine Learning (AutoML);
Intelligent Incident Management of Software Systems;
Intelligent Quality Prediction and Optimization for Software Systems.

Jan 2025: I was awarded the OpenAI Researcher Access grant, which provides me with 10,000 USD credits to use GPT-4 for my research!
Jan 2025: Our paper RCAEval: A Benchmark for Root Cause Analysis of Microservice Systems with Telemetry Data has been accepted to the Resource Track of the ACM Web Conference 2025 (CORE A*)!
