The Paddock PTA will be hosting a Healthy Minds Wellness Fair at Paddock on the evening of Thursday, March 12th from 6-8pm. Paddock School is located at 225 W. Washington Street, near the downtown Palatine area.
We have invited several community partners to attend our event that will focus on various topics of mental health. Our goal is to provide K-5 students with a hands-on "Wellness Passport" experience. Students will travel through various stations- ranging from yoga and art expression to healthy eating and anxiety-reduction techniques- collecting stamps as they learn new tools to support their mental health. Stations are designed to be simple, interactive, and fun, with activities lasting approximately 5-10 minutes per group.
Participants will receive various goodies along their journey, and a healthy treat at the end of their experience!
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with families from other schools, showcase our community partners' missions, and help students build lifelong mental health skills in a positive, supportive environment.
Our community partners include Illuminate Therapy, Community Mental Health Project, D15 Clinicians, Peak Yoga & Wellness, and many more! Please kindly RSVP for this event: https://evite.me/CuKAQ3jseZ
Looking forward to seeing you there, Hawks!
