Height Compare is a simple height comparison app. It allows users to enter people’s names, heights, silhouette choices, colours, and unit preferences in order to create a visual height comparison
This privacy policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
1. Information the app stores
Height Compare may store the following information locally on your device:
- Names entered into the app
- Heights entered into the app
- Selected silhouette types
- Selected avatar colours
- Unit preferences
- Appearance preferences
- Current comparison data
This information is stored only on your device so that your current comparison can be restored when you reopen the app.
2. Information we collect
Height Compare does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data.
The app does not use:
- User accounts
- Login systems
- Cloud sync
- Analytics
- Advertising trackers
- Third-party tracking tools
- External servers
- Location tracking
3. Local data storage
All comparison data is stored locally on your device.
The data you enter stays on your device unless you choose to share or export a comparison image using the app’s built-in sharing features.
4. Sharing and saving images
Height Compare allows you to export, share, or save comparison images.
If you choose to share an image, the image is handled by Apple’s native iOS sharing system. You control where the image is sent.
If you choose to save an image to Photos, the app will request permission to save the image to your photo library.
Height Compare does not receive or collect information about where you share exported images.
5. Children’s privacy
Height Compare does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Any information entered into the app is stored locally on the device and is not transmitted to us.
6. Third-party services
Height Compare does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Sharing features are provided through the native iOS share sheet.
7. Data deletion
You can delete locally stored comparison data by using the app’s reset option.
You can also remove the app from your device to delete its locally stored data.
Images that you have saved to Photos or shared elsewhere must be deleted separately from those locations.
8. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the app’s features change.
If Height Compare ever adds features that collect or transmit data, this policy will be updated to explain what data is used and why.
