Only a few people were injured but public sentiment is turning against China, with many people demanding retaliatory action. The US has urged caution while they investigate whether it was purposeful. Beijing's official stance is “Why would we drop a bomb on our own territory?!” Either way, concerning signs of a PRC naval buildup are showing in Fujian, close enough to mount an invasion.
