Opportunities

We have TA and RA positions currently open. If you are interested in pursuing a PhD in developmental and cell biology, please contact Dr Hunter via email with your interest. Include your CV/resume. Note that all applicants will need to formally apply via the Graduate School at Howard University.

We are currently hiring a technician. Applicants are expected to have at least a BA/BS degree. No  experience with flies is required, but at least some experience in a lab setting is preferred. Link to the formal advertisement will be posted soon. 

We are considering postdoctoral researcher applications. Postdocs will work on an independent project and will get mentorship experience. Applicants are expected to hold or to soon complete their PhD in a relevant field of Biology. Link to the formal advertisement will be posted soon.

We welcome interested undergraduates to email Dr Hunter about doing research in the lab. Options include for credit, volunteering, and for pay. We can usually accommodate 1-2 new students per semester and are especially interested in those who can commit to more than one semester.
