About Me!

Hello everyone! My name is Hunter DeLauder and I am a senior at the University of Florida studying Journalism specializing in sports and media with a certificate in sports management and am set to graduate in May of 2026. 

I have a deep-rooted passion for covering sports and telling stories about them through in-depth features, gamers, takeaways and any other newsworthy content. Throughout my time at UF, I have been fortunate enough to serve as the lead Gators football and baseball beat reporter for ESPN WRUF, cover UF baseball for On3 and men's tennis for the Independent  Florida Alligator. Right now, I am interning with Swamp247 of CBS Sports and beat reporting the 2026 UF baseball season. 

Following graduation, I hope to find a job or internship with a local or national sports media organization beat reporting for a college or professional team. Other career goals would be to one day be a national college baseball reporter for a major sports media site.
